Dr. Viviana Núñez attended Life University in Marietta, GA where she graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2008. Before that, she was an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher in Costa Rica, her natal country. She also got certifications in yoga and spinning (cycling) and taught for many years.
Later on, she received a post graduate education certificate in the Atlas Orthogonal (AO) procedure through Sherman College of Chiropractic. This procedure specializes in realigning the upper cervical spine in a gentle very precise way with a percussive instrument.
Some of the techniques utilized in her practice are: AO, activator, Thompson drop table, full spine and extremity adjusting which are all well established chiropractic methods utilized according to each individual’s needs of care. Other therapeutic modalities include: traction, flexion/extension, e-stim, intersegmental traction and therapeutic exercises. She is also certified in Webster technique for pre-natal care.
Dr. Núñez has been serving the CSRA since 2009 and she truly enjoys helping the community. She believes empowering patients to learn more about their own conditions and educating them on how to build better lifestyle habits is key in recovering and preventing future problems.
